What We Do

Hanover School Counselors Logo - Foundation, Delivery, Management, Accountability. What's best for students

Our school counselors are here to help. Please reach out to us to discuss any concerns:

The LMES school counseling program provides services to students, parents, school staff,  and the community both directly and indirectly.

  • Direct Student Services: These include the school counseling core curriculum, individual student planning, and responsive services. The curriculum consists of structured lessons designed to help students attain the desired competencies and to provide all students with the knowledge, attitudes, and skills appropriate for their developmental level. Students are involved in activities designed to help them establish personal goals and develop future plans. Responsive services are activities designed to meet students’ immediate needs and concerns, including short-term individual or group counseling as well as response to crisis situations.
  • Indirect Student Services: These services include planning with others (e.g., parents, outside providers, teachers) for additional assistance for students.
