We are busy planning for the 2021–2022 school year, so please mark your calendars for our fall open house plans. More details will follow in the next few weeks, but we wanted to share the date with you so you can plan accordingly.
Kindergarten Open House
Open house for incoming kindergarten students will be on Wednesday, September 1 by appointment only. We are excited to welcome our youngest learners to Laurel Meadow Elementary School by giving them an opportunity to meet their teacher and take a brief tour of the school. We will release information about scheduling your open house appointment in the next few weeks.
Drive-Through Open House for 1st–5th Grade Face to Face Lions
Our Drive-Through Open House for 1st–5th Grade Face to Face Lions is on Thursday, September 2, 2021 (rain date Friday, September 3, 2021). Please form a line in your designated loop (details below) to get pertinent beginning of the year forms as well as your teacher assignment. You will then pull forward in the loop to meet your teacher. Please do not exit your car to greet the teacher. You can roll your window down to meet the teacher, return the student verification form that we will mail to you the week of August 23, complete some basic information for the first day of school, and receive paperwork that you can complete at home and send back to school with your child on the first day of school. You can also drop medication off for the nurse if needed. The best part is that you can put all your school supplies in a bag labeled with your child's first and last name and grade (Ex: Katelyn Smith, 3) and we will deliver the supplies to your child’s classroom so they will be ready for the first day of school. If you cannot join our drive-through open house during your scheduled time, your child’s teacher will contact you before the start of school. We look forward to seeing you all.
